The Gift of Tea

This is my entry for the Gift of Art Challenge.

If I said Grab' was my friend, she would hiss. Come on, that's too... cute. It was so much easier when we were roomates - "my roomate", yes, that's a clean term. Well. Grab' was my roomate, then. The kind of roomate who brings you music in the middle of the night when she knows you're not feeling well, who changes the lyrics of famous songs to put her own version in the kitchen, and who literally offers you stars from the sky. What would I offer her, you ask? Well. I must have a spare teabag somewhere. There was that song she shared with me about wanting to invite someone to drink tea outside, but it is too late for that. Well, come,  roomate, I will give you the gift of tea. I will put the kettle on and wash the cups after. We will share the teabag, and if other people want to put symbols in there, like friendship and shared moments and peace and all those cute stuff, we will let them do so. You and I both know it is just a crappy teabag.
